About Jon Greenspon
I was born on October 17, 1964, in Los Angeles, California. I attended
public schooling exclusively, as my middle-class parents were not of
the type or affluence to afford private school. During my upbringing,
I had the traditional summer/after school jobs of delivering
newspapers, mowing yards, etc. I finished high school in 1982, at
Corona Senior High in Corona, California.
My first major job out of high school was in the United States Marine
Corps. I served a normal tour of service, as an enlisted member of 3rd
Battalion, 1st Marine Division. I was your basic
infantryman, doing my duty for God and country. After my service in
the Corps, I attended Victor Valley College in Victorville,
California, where I majored in Math and Science.
During my adult life, I have worked as a member of two unions, the
Teamsters and the International Union of Operating Engineers. I have
spent four years as an over-the-road truck driver, and in various high
technology companies – both as a regular employee, and in management
roles.
I am married to a wonderful woman, Wendy, and together we have a beautiful four-year-old daughter, Emerald. As of May 2007, I am also a candidate for Vice President of the United States. With your help, we can bring this country back to the track of putting America first.
Thank You for Your Time and Your Consideration.
